A Day in the Life of Angela Selby-Pagan

Published on November 30, 2018

After months of planning, the day has finally arrived. Spend the day with Angela Selby-Pagan, our event manager, as she leads a team in the successful execution of the inaugural Military OneSource Live | Fort Bragg event.  Our team could not have been more honored to participate in this event and support our service members and their families.

Day before the event - Boxes, boxes and more boxes

The Military OneSource Live | Fort Bragg event starts tomorrow, but our team arrived in North Carolina a few days early to make sure that everything is ready to go.  This is what a pre-event day often looks like…so many boxes. We ensure everything gets to the venue on time, so everything is accounted for and ready to go prior to the start of the event.

6:00 am - Dotting "i's" and crossing "t's"

The day has finally arrived!  Wendy and I review the folders one last time before the doors open and our participants come on in.  The event is supporting the service and family members at Fort Bragg.  As a military spouse myself, I am so honored to have helped plan this event and support it in person.

7:00 am - Doors opening

Kelli, Caitlin and I make sure the registration table is set up and the computers are ready to check folks in.  Not only do we provide venue research and contracting, but we also provide registration support on site and through our registration website.

2:30 pm - Gift giving

All the participants received a Military OneSource swag bag with lots of great resources to help them navigate the challenges of military life.  We loved handing out gifts to every participant.

7:00 pm - End of a great day

You would never know that we had all been up since the wee hours of the morning.  After a long day, it’s time for some good food and plenty of laughter with the team. It’s great to love what you do, the mission you support and the team of people you work with!
